Microchip Sam g55g / g55j smart arm based flash MCU is a high-performance, low-power device based on 32-bit arm with FPU (floating point unit) ® Cortex ®- M4 RISC processor.

Features include 512KB flash memory and up to 176kb SRAM, with a maximum operating speed of 120mhz. The peripherals include 8 flexible communication units composed of USART, SPI and I2C bus interface (TWI). G55g / g55j provides three software selectable low-power modes, namely sleep, waiting and backup.

Real time event management allows peripherals to receive, respond and send events in work and sleep modes without processor intervention. The flexible clock system provides functions with different clock frequencies for some peripherals, so as to optimize the power consumption.



Moreover, the processor and bus clock frequency can be modified without affecting the peripheral processing. In addition, it also provides small package options of 49 pin WLCSP, 64 pin QFN and 64 pin LQFP, as well as a rich and flexible set of peripherals.
